rectangular. Other formulae used include:

Area = PI X Radius X Radius (Area of Circle)

Area = ½ Base X Height (Area of Triangle)

Area = ½ (b-a)/n [f(X0)+2f(X1)+2f(X2)+…+2f(Xn-1)+f(Xn)] (Trapezoid Rule)

Area = 1/3 (b-a)/n [f(X0)+4f(X1)+2f(X2)+…+4f(Xn-1)+f(Xn)] n even (Simpson's Rule)
